  a topic was started over at reddit directing people's attention to a depiction on jw.org of the governing body.

  it's not in their publication, only on the website under the topic of "what is the governing body?

  but who are these guys in the depiction?.

  have the rank and file been told not to "gossip", or "question" about mr morris yet?

  i am mindful of how questioning decisions was discouraged and being told to keep things confidential.

  ( maybe too soon, but do share if a special needs part comes up) you would think that common sense would tell them they cause the questions when they don't share reasons.

  Well, 3 threads. Those hoping for a gentler kinder GB will be disappointed.

  As for comparison to Ray Franz, no. Franz wanted to care for the flock, TM wanted to abuse them.

  has the auxiliary class or second school been done away with?.

  when i grew up in my congregation we even had three schools, so three bible readings and three lots of student assignments.. after covid it seems everything is easier, less assignments now some only seem to get one or two per year.. being an elder is much easier these days, everything is done for you.

  meetings are full of videos and q&as need no preparation you could take a watchtower or cong book study with zero preparation and most midweek meetings have q&as that requires no preparation .

  Ive been tsking 3rd grade reading for 70 years. Working on " pronownsheashun". Actually think I got fired over beard. The threat was shave or give up school. A really hard decision.

  The big secret advice from the GB is unworkable. Elders not talking to each other? Wives not noticing subpoenas, lawyer meetings, searches, local news---never happen

  The one troubling thing is this seems to be a blanket fishing expedition which may not meet higher court scrutiny

  Friend lives close there. A big well known family with ties, the kind who run things their way. The " branch" seems to be washing their hands, leaving the locals to hold the bag. An operating committee is the go between for t h e h all titled in WT hands and the sheeple.

  If there is more I will post it if this old phone will work.

  The king james bible which protestant religions used for years and still do has the name Jehovah. Witnesses just adopted it from popular usage. Half of us scribble the tetragrsgmmaton backwards anyway. Technically it is HWHY from Hebrew.

  The lffy is suposed to be the brochure du jour now. The midweek bore fest study is confusing for Witnesses, no idea how plays to a newby.
